John 4:15
Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 15.
The woman said to him, sir give me this water so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water. Jesus spoke to her about the Living Water. The Holy Spirit takes them like an arrow to her heart and in a moment's time reveals to her the great need of her life, and as well as at least to a certain degree.
What Jesus is actually saying? So, she asks Jesus, give me this water, this living water. The truth is this woman has thirsted all her life for the Living Water. Her immorality has not slackened this thirst, and neither did many husbands. As well as the religion of Samaritans gave no satification at all.
Religion cannot satisfy this thirst, which is in us only Jesus can. In the Kasarcode District in a place called kolara, there are two people, one Peter, who is retired from BHEL and is 80 years old, another brother, Sebastian, who is 70 years old. Their families are in the U.S, but they stay here and go out to house sharing the good news of the Gospel. They climb hills and walk down valleys to reach the houses
Last three days. I also joined them. And went with them and spoke about Jesus and about the salvation. I could see the spiritual thirst in the people who listened to us. The word of God we have sown in them will one day yeild fruits.
