English John 4:7

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:7. A woman from Samaria. Came to draw water. Jesus said to her, give me a drink. Jesus, the creator of universe and the judge of all, man meets one of the wildest of Sinners. But he is there not to condemn her but to seek and to save her.
We see Jesus as the barrier Breaker. As we have seen before the Jews, hate the Samaritans, the Jewish Samaritan. Quarrel  had been for more than 400 years. The Samaritan woman was astonished that Jesus a Jew should speak to her a Samaritan. But there is still another way in which Jesus was tearing down the barriers.This Samaritan was a woman, a strict Rabbi was forbidden to greet a woman in public. He might not even speak to his own wife or his daughter or his sister in public. To be seen speaking to a woman in public, was the end of his reputation? And, Jesus spoke to the woman. Not only the she was a woman but she was a woman of notorious character. And Jesus spoke to her. Here was Jesus breaking through the barriers of nationality and Orthodox Jewish custom. Here is the beginning of the universality of the Gospel. 

Many thousands came to Jesus to hear him and to be healed. But at the same time, he went searching for individuals. Jesus, went into Samaria, which was not lawful for him to go. Just to meet this Samaritan woman and to save her life from destruction. Jesus went across the sea to Heal a demonic man rejected by the family and the society. We read about this in Mark chapter 5. 
Today also is coming to meet you, whatever situation you are in,whatever problems you are in, whatever difficulties you are in. He is there coming to meet you at your need. You don't have to go to him. He is coming to you. Let us pray.

Prayer 
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the word of God. Thank you for your presence. Thank you. Lord, that you are a God who is searching for us. Lord, you are a shepherd who leavrs the 99 sheep and goes in search of one who is lost. I thank you. Lord bless this day.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4th chapter and verses one and two. We are studying from the fourth chapter of John from today. Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees have heard that Jesus was baptizing more disciples than John, although Jesus himself did not baptize but only his disciples. In this verse we again see about baptism Jesus and his disciples along with John was baptizing in the same place. It is not written whether Jesus and his disciples followed the baptism of John. We do not know. The difference between John's baptism and the Christian baptism is given clearly in the Bible. In Acts 19:3,4, we read " 'Unto what where you baptized?' And they said 'unto John's baptism' . Then Paul said, 'John verily, baptized with the baptism of repentance saying unto the people they that they should believe on Jesus Christ who is to come after him' ". MY TESTIMONY

Maria and I were married on 29th July 1981. In 1982 My colleague in Mico called me for a prayer meeting in which I accepted Jesus as my personal savior this changed my life . I was born again I began to trust God for all things in my life. The first tragedy struck us when Maria was diagnosed with a heart problem in 1986. At that time, Mr. Dorairaj told us to seek God's help and so we went to his house for prayer. When we went for prayer pastor said that God has already healed her as we had come in faith expecting a miracle. We did the Cardiac Catheterization test at Sindi Hospital and she was found to be perfectly fine, God gave her a lease of life. In 1987, Danny was born despite the fact that the doctors had told us there would be complications during childbirth, but by God's grace, Maria had a normal delivery.
