English John 4:13

 Today's verse is from John 4:13. Jesus said to her, everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again.

Jesus answered and said to her Jesus is presenting himself slowly, leading her to the meaning of this great spiritual truth. As Nicodomas in the previous chapter was led to the spiritual truth of being born again. Jesus is leading this Samaritan woman to the spiritual truth of Living Water or the need of Salvation in a life. Nicodomas was highly moral, and this Samaritan was grossly immoral yet there was no difference between them. Both needing the cleansing and salvation of Jesus. You may be very religious, but you need Jesus in your life for your salvation. To Nicodemus, the religious leader Jesus says. You must be born again, but to The Sinner, he slowly leads her to the need of Salvation or the Living Water in her life. Verse, 14 says, But whatever, whoever drinks of this water that I give him give him shall never thirst. Whosoever drinks of this water will be thirsty again.  

He is not only saying of Jacob's Well, but he is also saying of all the efforts to quench the spiritual thirst in the soul. This thirst can be only be satisfied by Jesus. Man attempts to quench the spiritual thirst with money, power, Prestige, education, culture, accomplishment, achievement and a host of other things. That will not satisfy. As someone said, the soul of a man is so big that only God can fill it. One person said God is like a water in the well, and religions are as bucket to take it. So, whatever side of the well, you are drawing the water,  you can have the same God, but the question is, have you had that water? Have you drank that water? 

Prayer 

Yes, let's pray, Heavenly Father. I thank you for the spiritual things you are teaching us. Oh, God, given us  the Living Water Lord help us Lord to know that you are the only God who can satisfy our thirst for Spiritual things.

I commit ourselves into your hands of God. We pray and commit this day to your hands. Bless this day in Jesus precious name.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4th chapter and verses one and two. We are studying from the fourth chapter of John from today. Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees have heard that Jesus was baptizing more disciples than John, although Jesus himself did not baptize but only his disciples. In this verse we again see about baptism Jesus and his disciples along with John was baptizing in the same place. It is not written whether Jesus and his disciples followed the baptism of John. MY TESTIMONY

Maria and I were married on 29th July 1981. In 1982 My colleague in Mico called me for a prayer meeting in which I accepted Jesus as my personal savior this changed my life . I was born again I began to trust God for all things in my life. The first tragedy struck us when Maria was diagnosed with a heart problem in 1986. At that time, Mr. Dorairaj told us to seek God's help and so we went to his house for prayer. When we went for prayer pastor said that God has already healed her as we had come in faith expecting a miracle. We did the Cardiac Catheterization test at Sindi Hospital and she was found to be perfectly fine, God gave her a lease of life. In 1987, Danny was born despite the fact that the doctors had told us there would be complications during childbirth, but by God's grace, Maria had a normal delivery.
