English John 4:10


Praise the Lord. Today's verse is John 4, 10, Jesus answered her. If you knew the gift of God, And who it is that is saying to you give me a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living Waters. Hallelujah. What is the gift of God to men. It is the salvation of our soul by which we have the eternal life. Romans 6 23 says the wages of sin is death. That is the Eternal superation from God. But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ. Jesus, our lord. This gift is a free gift to us, but for Jesus, he had to pay a costly prize.
1 Peter 1:18-19 ESV
[18] knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, [19] but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 
Jesus is saying to the woman if you knew who it is, that is saying to you to give me a drink.
At that time, she did not know who Jesus was though later she knew. In John 1 1, it says, in the beginning of the word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And 14th verse it says, and the word became flesh and dwelt Among Us, Jesus was God himself.
The woman did not know that she was speaking to God the Messiah. Jesus was saying to the woman if you know who it is, that  is asking to you. Give me a drink. At that time she did not know who Jesus was though later she knew. John 1 1 says, in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
And verse 14 says, and the Word became flesh and dwelt Among Us. Jesus was God himself. The woman did not know that she was speaking to the Messiah, the God himself. Living Water means the new life that Jesus brings. It includes the new birth John 3:3 eternal life, John 3:16 and the Holy Spirit to live in our hearts  John 7 37-39. It can be had by asking the Lord Jesus for it. In fact, he only can give it to us. In the Old Testament also water is used as a symbol of spiritual life, Isaiah 55:1, Jeremiah 2:13 and 17:13.

Prayer 
Let us pray. Heavenly Father, I thank you for the free gift of Salvation which you have given us. Thank you, Lord, that you came down into this world, God becoming man. I thank you, Lord, that you are giving us this living water, the spiritual life, which you we today is from you, the Holy Spirit, you have given us a Lord. We thank you for that. We commit ourselves. Once again this day into your hands in Jesus name, I pray. Amen. God bless you.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4th chapter and verses one and two. We are studying from the fourth chapter of John from today. Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees have heard that Jesus was baptizing more disciples than John, although Jesus himself did not baptize but only his disciples. In this verse we again see about baptism Jesus and his disciples along with John was baptizing in the same place. It is not written whether Jesus and his disciples followed the baptism of John. MY TESTIMONY

Maria and I were married on 29th July 1981. In 1982 My colleague in Mico called me for a prayer meeting in which I accepted Jesus as my personal savior this changed my life . I was born again I began to trust God for all things in my life. The first tragedy struck us when Maria was diagnosed with a heart problem in 1986. At that time, Mr. Dorairaj told us to seek God's help and so we went to his house for prayer. When we went for prayer pastor said that God has already healed her as we had come in faith expecting a miracle. We did the Cardiac Catheterization test at Sindi Hospital and she was found to be perfectly fine, God gave her a lease of life. In 1987, Danny was born despite the fact that the doctors had told us there would be complications during childbirth, but by God's grace, Maria had a normal delivery.
