English John 4:6

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:6 Jacob's, well was there, So Jesus varied as he was from his journey was sitting beside the well, it was about the sixth hour. 

Jacob's. Well, was there, there is no reference in the Old Testament about this. Well, Even today, this place and the well is a pilgrim spot in the Palestine city of neblas in the West Bank.The well currently situated inside an Eastern Orthodox Church and a monastery. Jesus was varied because of his journey as it was the sixth hour sixth hour is 12 noon according to our time because Jewish time starts at 6:00, am in the morning. Jesus, sat by the side of the Well, exhausted by the journey. It was very significant that John who stresses the deity of Jesus Christ more than any other gospel writers also stresses the humanity to the fullness. He does not show us a figure freed from the tirelessness and the struggles of humanity. Jesus was God, but at the same time, human He was thirsty. He was hungry. He was tired. He had to face opposition from the people. The enemies of Jesus, try to kill him many times. In Luke 4:29,30. We see they wanted to throw him off the cliff. They finally crucified him. He was tempted by Satan. He over came it by the power of the Holy Spirit and the word of God.

He needed prayer as we all need prayer in our life. Jesus was human, he went through all the situations which we also go through, he knows our problems. So let us come to God. Let us come to him. Who knows every one of our difficulties. Our difficulties, our Temptations.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4th chapter and verses one and two. We are studying from the fourth chapter of John from today. Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees have heard that Jesus was baptizing more disciples than John, although Jesus himself did not baptize but only his disciples. In this verse we again see about baptism Jesus and his disciples along with John was baptizing in the same place. It is not written whether Jesus and his disciples followed the baptism of John. MY TESTIMONY

Maria and I were married on 29th July 1981. In 1982 My colleague in Mico called me for a prayer meeting in which I accepted Jesus as my personal savior this changed my life . I was born again I began to trust God for all things in my life. The first tragedy struck us when Maria was diagnosed with a heart problem in 1986. At that time, Mr. Dorairaj told us to seek God's help and so we went to his house for prayer. When we went for prayer pastor said that God has already healed her as we had come in faith expecting a miracle. We did the Cardiac Catheterization test at Sindi Hospital and she was found to be perfectly fine, God gave her a lease of life. In 1987, Danny was born despite the fact that the doctors had told us there would be complications during childbirth, but by God's grace, Maria had a normal delivery.
