English John 4:12

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4 12. Are you greater than our Father? Jacob He gave us the well, and drank from it himself, and did his sons and his livestock. We observe the claims of the Samaritans, to be the descendant of Abraham, the son of Joseph and actually of Jacob himself who have dug the well.

Jacob always seems to be running from someone or something, from Essu his brother, who wanted to kill him, then from Laban, his father-in-law. And from the famine in Canaan, he flew to Egypt with his family. When he was fleeing from Essu, he saw in a vision a ladder and in a vision the Majesty and the glory of God.
At Bethel, when he saw God, he worshiped God and he made a wow to take  Yahweh as his God at paniel, while he was returning back from the his father-in-law Leban, Jacob ressuled face to face with God, he taught him the value of continued prayer from one who is helpless Jacob emerged from paniel, willing to let his life fall into God's control. He was wounded, but Victorious God gave him a crippled body but a strengthened Faith. It was a new Jacob with a new name, Israel. The woman asked, are you greater than our father? Jacob, yes, Jesus is greater than any Saints of the Old Testament and also the New Testament because he is the son of God. That is God himself. Today also many people worship a man of God Considering him to be greater than God in their life. This well was considered by the Samaritans to be holy and the water sacred. Today also many people consider a place of pilgrim holy and they go to those places.

But Matthew 18, 20 says, Jesus said that, where two or three are gathered in my name, I will be there, John 4, 23 says, but the hour is coming. And is now here when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth

Prayer

Let us pray. Heavenly Father.
I thank you, Lord. That Jacob was an example to us. Lord, let our lives be like Jacob committing our life to a life of prayer. I pray, God that you will bless us and strengthen us. Oh, God help us  Lord, to know that there is no one is greater than Jesus.
I commit myself. And each one of us into the hands of Jesus. We love you. We praise you. Jesus name! I pray. Amen! God bless you.
