John 4:23a

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 23, but the hour is coming and is now here. When the true worshipers will worship the father. And truth for the father is seeking such people to worship him. We are going to meditate on the first part of this verse today.

The hour is coming and is now here. This also said in verse 21, the hour is coming. Here, the time is emphasized. It is now here. Jesus is now here. And the things are about to change. Every single prophecy of the Old Testament. All the sacrifices along with the feast days, as well as the Tabernacle and the temple stood and all pointed out to one person, the Lord Jesus Christ. He was and is the Fulfillment of all these things and all were done for a purpose of opening up the way that the Holy Spirit would come down and dwell in the hearts and lives of Believers in a manner which would not be done previously.

When Jesus died on Calvary thereby satisfying the claims of heavenly Justice and defeating Satan, as well as his resurrection, would afford a place and a position with the father for the Believers, which were not known till then. Consequently, it would be the greatest pivot point in history, with Believers becoming an habitation of God through the spirit.

It is amazing that Jesus would tell these things to a poor Samaritan woman. Who had been immoral as to say she was the least, but these things were not revealed to the religious leaders of Israel. Even today, it has not changed. God wants to reveal to you great things about worshiping God, which is not revealed to the intellectuals or to the rich people, or even to the great religious leaders but to  those who accept Jesus.

Those who accept Jesus or God's way, which is the only way of righteousness will receive God's revelation, while those who do not accept it, even though prophesing to be great had nothing revealed to them. God loves you. He wants to reveal great things to you, how to worship in truth, and in spirit.

Prayer

Let's look to God In Pray, Heavenly Father. I thank you for you have been God, who reveals great things to people who are thirsty for God. I thank you Lord for giving us your grace. Thank you Lord for making us your children. We commit ourselves once again for this day and to you, Lord Jesus Precious name, I pray. Amen. God bless you.
