John 4:21

Praise the Lord! Verses John 4, 21. Jesus said to her, believe me the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. Will you worship the father?

Jesus says to the woman, believe me. Jesus is asking her to believe him. And he is also confirming a statement which he said, I perceive that you are a prophet Jesus saying, I am the prophet Moses has spoken about. In effect, he is also saying that he holds the answer. And rather than believing the arguing factions among the Samaritans and Jews, she was rather to believe him. Today, also argument rage over religion. However, the cry one criteria and one foundation and one principle, which must be heated, is the Lord Jesus Christ.

When we stand before God. What the religions or denominations have said, or  the church have said, will not matter, but only what God Said will matter. So, Jesus says, believe me, Hallelujah. Jesus said the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the father. Jesus is saying that he would die on Calvary, and he will be rised up from the dead, and then the day of Pentecost would signal the new form of worship. In truth, the temple worship, the sacrifices the feast days were about to draw to a close. Again, we see Jesus using the title father. He proclaims that the coming worship will be more intimate. Precious God! Will be looked at in a entirely different light because a relationship will have been established. Will by Believers because of what Jesus would do at Calvary and because of his resurrection. Malachi 1: 11 is to be fulfilled for from the rising of the sun to its setting His name will be great among the Nations. And Jesus said in Matthew 18, 20, for where two or three are gathered together in my name? There am I  among them. Jesus is saying, wherever you gather together, that is the place of worship.

Prayer

Let us pray. Thank you, Lord this morning, we come to you, Our Father. We pray God that you will bless this day. Father, it's not a place of worship, but when we gather together and worship the father in truth and spirit, you are there with us, O Lord. We thank you for this day. Help us Lord bless this day for us in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you.
