John 4:17,18


Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 17, and 18. 

The woman answered him. I have no husband. Jesus said to her, you are right in saying, I have no husband for you have had five husbands and the one you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.

We see Jesus by the gift of the Holy spirit, reveals that she had six husbands. We do not know if she diversed the other husbands or if  some are dead. But Jesus clearly speaks about marriage, and divorce  in Mark 10 chapter. Some Pharisees came to Jesus and asked him.

Is it lawful for a man to diverse his wife. Jesus answered, but from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this reason, man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. So then they are no longer two, but one flesh

Therefore, what God has joined together Let not man separate. Whoever diverses his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman diverses a husband and marries another, she commits adultery. Jesus does not permit diverse in our lives except for sexual immorality. If one of the partners,

does sexual immorality, then Jesus in Matthew 19, 9 permits divorce. So today, we live in a world where diverse are increasing. And we should know that Jesus does not allow diverse .Let us look into our lives. Are we living in peace and Harmony? Is our relationship breaking down, or are we building it up.

Prayer 

Let us look to God in prayer. Heavenly Father, I thank you for your word. So, God, lord, even as we live in this world help us to live in harmony O God in our family let there be your joy, your peace, your presence in our family of God let every Spirit of hatred and jealousy be broken in our family in Jesus name, let there be a peace between our children, our wife or our husband, and let your grace be there upon our lives. We give all glory to you in Jesus precious name we ask, amen. God bless you.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4th chapter and verses one and two. We are studying from the fourth chapter of John from today. Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees have heard that Jesus was baptizing more disciples than John, although Jesus himself did not baptize but only his disciples. In this verse we again see about baptism Jesus and his disciples along with John was baptizing in the same place. It is not written whether Jesus and his disciples followed the baptism of John. MY TESTIMONY

Maria and I were married on 29th July 1981. In 1982 My colleague in Mico called me for a prayer meeting in which I accepted Jesus as my personal savior this changed my life . I was born again I began to trust God for all things in my life. The first tragedy struck us when Maria was diagnosed with a heart problem in 1986. At that time, Mr. Dorairaj told us to seek God's help and so we went to his house for prayer. When we went for prayer pastor said that God has already healed her as we had come in faith expecting a miracle. We did the Cardiac Catheterization test at Sindi Hospital and she was found to be perfectly fine, God gave her a lease of life. In 1987, Danny was born despite the fact that the doctors had told us there would be complications during childbirth, but by God's grace, Maria had a normal delivery.
