John 4:20


Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 20. 
Our fathers worship on this mountain. But you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship. 

Our fathers worshiped in this mountain speaks of Mount Garrison. It was about 50 miles north of Jerusalem. A rival worship had been set up on this mountain.
This Temple was built in 332 BC. Our Father speaks of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who worshiped and labored at Sheikkim, which was nearby. Mount Garasim was called the Mount of blessing. Deuteronomy 27:12. The phrase, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship. The Jews see that they have to worship on Mount Moriah.
Mariah was the mountain on which Abraham took his son to offer him as a sacrifice and the temple, Solomon built was on this mountain. When Solomon built the temple, God promised Solomon. I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice and worship. 2 chronicles 7:12. Jesus ministered in the temple to the people he spoke to the people he healed. 
The temple was destroyed by the Romans in the year 70 AD. Today in this place is a mosque. Soon, the temple will be rebuilt. Because the promises are there that the temple will be rebuilt. The temple was a place of worship where sacrifice were made for the sins of man. 
However, the Samaritan woman knew that is her life has not been changed by the worship in which she was previously had been engaged, and now she sensed that Jesus was about to give her what she carved all along the salvation from sin. Even today only Jesus can give us the salvation from our sins because he died for our sins.

Prayer 
Let us pray, Heavenly father. I thank you for your word. Thank you, Lord, that we need to worship you in truth and spirit. Lord. It's not a place but our heart. Lord, we want our heart to be right with you. We commit ourselves today into our hands, the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4th chapter and verses one and two. We are studying from the fourth chapter of John from today. Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees have heard that Jesus was baptizing more disciples than John, although Jesus himself did not baptize but only his disciples. In this verse we again see about baptism Jesus and his disciples along with John was baptizing in the same place. It is not written whether Jesus and his disciples followed the baptism of John. MY TESTIMONY

Maria and I were married on 29th July 1981. In 1982 My colleague in Mico called me for a prayer meeting in which I accepted Jesus as my personal savior this changed my life . I was born again I began to trust God for all things in my life. The first tragedy struck us when Maria was diagnosed with a heart problem in 1986. At that time, Mr. Dorairaj told us to seek God's help and so we went to his house for prayer. When we went for prayer pastor said that God has already healed her as we had come in faith expecting a miracle. We did the Cardiac Catheterization test at Sindi Hospital and she was found to be perfectly fine, God gave her a lease of life. In 1987, Danny was born despite the fact that the doctors had told us there would be complications during childbirth, but by God's grace, Maria had a normal delivery.
