John 6:7

Praise the lord today's Bible  verse is from John 6 verse 7 Philip answered him 200 denari worth of bread is not sufficient for them that every one of them may have a little. Denaris denoted a Roman silver coin equivalent to a labor's average daily wage. So Philip answered Jesus eight months wages would not buy enough food for each each one to have a bite. Notice that Jesus asked where shall we buy food? and Philip really does not answer Jesus that question.
Philip responded with what he perceived was a greater, far greater problem than they were and that was, with what were is the money going to come from for the large crowd? Philip looked at the problem in terms of meeting the minimum requirement, even a little from each man is impossible, but Jesus wanted to give them in appendance with 12 baskets left over. Philip thought that the answer was money.
Philip sees only the situation, not the possible solution who was Jesus.  The apostle's concern once again exhibited the ...

John 6:5,6

Today's verse is from John 6:5,6 lifting up his eyes then and seeing that a large crowd was coming towards him, Jesus said to Philip where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat he said this to test him, for himself knew what he would do.  John recorded that Jesus approached Philip about the need of food. The other gospel does't say this.
John does not mention several details found in the other gospels. Matthew and Mark say that Jesus had compassion on them. Luke says he spoke to them about the kingdom of God and cured those who are in need of healing.
While John did not use the word "compassion, clearly Jesus question to Philip reflected his compassion for the large crowd.  He asked Philip because he was from Bethesda, which was near the place where they were. And if Jesus asked a question to someone, it is not for information. He knew everything. This was for them to think. He already knew what he was about to do.
This was Philip to understand the magnitude ...

John 6:3,4

Praise the Lord today's verse is from John 6 chapter verse three and four  Jesus went up to the mountain and there he sat down with his disciples. Now the passover, the feast of the Jews was at hand.  Jesus went up to the mountain, seems to express a desire for solitude. However, the crowd found them and gathered there.  Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews was at hand. This is the second passover mentioned in the book of John. The first was in John 2:13, when Jesus was in the temple, where he drove out the people selling oxen, sheep, and pigeons in the temple  In John 6:4, this would have been the second passover mentioned in John’s gospel and therefore the completion of the second year of Jesus ministry.  The third passover was written in John 1:21. This Passover was the crucification of Jesus in Jerusalem, when Jesus became the Passover lamb.  The Jewish Passover is the celebration of the exodus from Egypt. The The celebration was the slaughter of a l...

John 6:2

Praise the lord today's verses from John 6 verse 2  “And a large crowd was following him, because they saw the signs that he was doing on the sick.” ‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭2‬ ‭ESV‬‬  It becomes clear that enumerous crowds and searching enthusiasm are not always evidence of spiritual validity. One of the main reasons people were following Jesus is that he was performing many miracles.
It is impossible for us to comprehend or realise the magnitude of this miracles, and what must have happened at these meetings, to think of blind eyes instantly being opened, with lepers instantly cleansed, and all manners of diseases instantly healed must have brought a joy unparallelled in the history of humanity.   So we might describe many of this large crowd may be disciples. However, as the story unfolds, we see soon that the crowd who followed him did not obey his command to count the cost and follow him.
In the later part of this chapter in verse 66 we read “After this, many of the dis...

John 5:45

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 5:45.  Do you think that I will accuse you to the Father,  there is one who accuses you, Moses, on whom you have set your hope.  Jesus said, I do not accuse you to the Father, John 3:17 says, for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.  Moses was the greatest leader that the Israel people had. They had set their hope in him. Moses had written the first five books of the Bible. This is called Torah, which is considered the greatest of the books of the Bible by the Jews. When the Israelities were slaves under Egypt, they cried unto God.Exodus  2:23,24 The people of Israel groaned because of their slavery, and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue, from slavery, came up to God. God heard their groaning, and remembered his covenant, and sent Moses to deliver them.  Moses led them out of Egypt, and when they were faced with the...

John 6:1

Praise the Lord today's verse is from John 6:1. After this Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is this sea of Tiboreus  We are starting with John chapter 6 today in this chapter we are going to see Jesus perform two more impressive miracles and impossible feats. He will feed five thousand and walk on water. This feeding of 5000 is the only miracle recorded in all four gospel, which shows the importance and significance of this miracle.
The synoptic gospels which suggests two reasons that Jesus and his disciples withdrew to the eastern side of the lake. Mark 6, says the disciples had just returned from a preaching mission. Jesus too had been heavily involved in exhausting ministry, while they were gone, and the Lord knew the disciples needed a time of rest and instruction. Matthew 14:13 reveals that the news of John the Baptist death provided an additional reason for their withdrawal.
So they went away by themselves in a boat, but many who saw them leavi...

John 5:44

Praise the Lord, today's verse is from John 5:44.  How can you believe when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God.  Jesus is giving one more reason why the Jews did not believe in Jesus, because they sought the glory of man and not of God. He also makes a distinction between the glory and honour from man and the honour which comes from God.  The fatal error of the religious leaders of those days was their pride, vanity, and self love, then lived for each other's praise. God does not minister to the pride of man. He does not modify his truth so as to please man's pride. The longed for prestige and glory and honour from one another, and they were willing to sacrifice the honour which comes from God alone for the sake of man's honour.  If they had acknowledged Christ as their Messiah, they must have to give up the good opinion of the multitude. They chose rather to lose their souls than to forfeit the reput...

John 5:44

Praise the Lord, today's verse is from John 4:44. John 4:30

Praise The Lord, today's verse is from John 4, 30.  They went out of the town and were coming to him. The Samaritans came out of the town to come to Jesus.  In John 4, 4, we see that he had to pass through Samaria. And now we know why Jesus has to go through Samaria, the Holy Spirit, knew that they were hungry Hearts in Samaria, who had to come to Christ. Today. Also, there are many hungry hearts in the world who need Jesus, but there is no one to tell them about Jesus and to bring them to the gospel. Will you be that person to bring them to Jesus Christ? The Christian Life is based on the twin pillars of Discovery and communication. Discovery of Salvation in Christ Jesus, And the communication of the good news of the Gospel. No Discovery is complete until the desire to share it fills our heart, and we cannot communicate Christ to others until we have discovered him for ourselves. We are living in a trouble some days. With great needs worldwide, regardless of the c...

John 4:28

Image
Praise The Lord today's verse is from John 4:28. So, the woman left a water jar and went away into the town and said to the people come.  Here we see the excitement of the woman, who found Jesus. She forgot the purpose she had come there, and she left the  water jar and went away into the town and said to the people come. So she became the first evangelist, the preacher of the Gospel to the Gentile Nations. And so effective was her preaching, we see that it caused a Revival. She had received the Living Water that is salvation. And then she said about this to others.  God has created us with a purpose. God purpose for creating us was to share all he had, and he asked  us to share Him with others and he is with us. This is the pattern of Personal evangelism, sharing what we have God sent Jesus with. And with power and authority. He send him to the people not to condemn, but to or to judge but to set people free. This is the mission Christ has passed on to u...

John 4:29

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 29. Come see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?  The word come Is the greatest evidence of all that this woman had received a Salvation. When a person receives salvation, they hungrily desire to bring others to Christ. Salvation as given by Christ is  a particular thing in that the glory is not obvious unless one has accepted Christ. When this happens and suddenly the glory appears and the first desire is that others should know this as well.  Come see a man who told me all that I ever did is once again the epicentre of true Bible Christianity. Christianity is not a philosophy, nor a religion. It is really as stated a man, the man, Jesus Christ. Whether Jesus told her everything or not, we do not know. However, he told her enough that she was thoroughly convinced as to who and what he actually was. This is what makes Christianity so different than the religions of the world. All ...

John 4:27

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 27. Just then, his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, what do you seek, or why are you talking with her?  Here, we see that the disciples came back from the town where they had gone to purchase food. The marveled that he was talking to a woman. The Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans. The Rabies did not Converse with a woman in public or instruct them in the law in the public. Actually, this was one of the reasons that the Pharisees and the ruling hierarchy of Israel hated Jesus because He completely ignored the man-made rules and obeyed the will of the father. Jesus lifted woman to their true position. Women Ministered unto him with their substance. He shed His miraculous, healing power, the feeding the teaching. They anointed His fieet with Ointment. The wept over His Agony when he was going to the Cross. They followed him to the cross. They were at this Sepulcher ea...

John 4:26

Image
Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 26. Jesus said to her I, who speak to you, am he.  Jesus declares himself to be the Messiah to this Samaritan woman. In John 9th chapter, we see Jesus revealing himself to that blind man who was healed by Jesus. And Jesus said, do you believe in the son of man and he answered, and who is he so that I may believe in him, and Jesus said to him, you are seeing, and it is he who is speaking to you. Jesus did not show himself or declare himself to be the Messiah to the religious leaders, but to the poor people to the Blind and to the Samaritan woman, he declared. I am the Messiah. I am the son of man which is another word spoken about  Messiah, the son of man. But Peter knew that Jesus was the Messiah because he lived with him. Here we see in Matthew 16th chapter. Jesus asked the disciple who dose people say that the son of man is? They answered that they said different things, but again, he spoke to his disciples and said,...

John 4:25

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's words is from. John 4th, chapter 25th verse.   The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.”  The Greek word for Messiah is Christos, from which Christ the name English name comes. The Samaritans were waiting for the Messiah, so were the Jews. We see in Matthew 16 chapter. Peter, declaring Jesus as the Messiah. Jesus asked his disciples, who do people say that the son of man is? They said different things. But then he asked this question to the disciples, he said to them. But what do you say that I am? And Simon, Peter, answered. You are the Christ, the son of living God. How did Peter know that Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ, the son of the Living God. We have to see how it all started. John's gospel first chapter 35th verse onwards we see that John the Baptist introduced Jesus to his disciples and two of his disciples followed him, and one of them was An...

John 4:23

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 23, John 4:23 ESV But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.   We are going to meditate on the first part of this verse today. The hour is coming and is now here. This also said in verse 21, the hour is coming. Here, the time is emphasized. It is now here. Jesus is now here. And the things are about to change. Every single prophecy of the Old Testament, All the sacrifices along with the feast days, as well as that, the Tabernacle and what the temple stood for, all pointed to one person, the Lord Jesus Christ. He was and is the Fulfillment of all these things and all were done for a purpose of opening up the way that the Holy Spirit would come down and dwell in the hearts and lives of Believers in a manner which would not be done previously. When Jesus died on Calvary, thereby satisfying the claims o...

John 4:24

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is John 4, 24 God is spirit and those who worship Him must Worship in spirit and Truth.  God is spirit does not mean that God is a wind or a vapor or a smoke. John was taken up to heaven in Revelation 4th chapter. His description of God on the throne is, And he who sat there had the appearance of Jasper and kermelim. And round the throne was a rainbow that had appearance of emerald. The elders fell down and worshiped him, saying, Worthy are you, our Lord, Our God.  God is spirit means God is a spirit being. This indicates the attributes of God. The first attribute is, he is omnipotent. That is, God is all-powerful. He has the power to carry into effect whatever God May Will. Second is, he is omniscient He is knowledgeable. All things past, present, or future is an open scroll to him. Third attribute is omnipresent He is present universally and simultaneously in every part of his wide domain. He is present everywhere at all the time. T...

John 4:22

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:22. You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know for the Salvation is from the Jews. Jesus was telling her what was right and wrong. A Samaritan style of worship was wrong. It was that which God would not accept. Irrespective of how much time the worshiped or how much they used his name. The Samaritan worship was founded not on love, but on ignorance and fear. As we have seen when the foreign people were brought to dwell in Samaria, they brought their own gods with them second Kings 17:29 We read about it. We are told that a priest from Bethel came and told them how they should fear the lord second Kings 17:28. But all the probability is that they merely added Jehovah to their list of gods because they were superstitiously afraid to leave them. Irrespective of Israel's present black slidden condition and a departure from the true God, despite the continuing of the religious ceremonies and rituals still, that...

John 4:21

Praise the Lord! John 4:21. Jesus said to her, believe me the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the father.  Jesus says to the woman, believe me. Jesus is asking her to believe him. And He is also confirming a statement which she said, I perceive that you are a prophet Jesus saying, I am the prophet,  Moses has spoken about. In effect, is also saying that he holds the answer to her delimma and rather than believing the arguing factions among the Samaritans and Jews, she was rather to believe him. Today, also argument rage over religion. However, the one criteria and the one foundation and one principle, which must be heeded, is the Lord Jesus Christ. When we stand before God what the religions or denominations said, or the church have said, will not matter, but only what God said will matter. So, Jesus says, believe me.  Jesus said the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship t...

John 4:20

Image
Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4:20. Our fathers worship on this mountain. But you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.  Our fathers worshiped in this mountain speaks of Mount Garazim. It was about 50 miles north of Jerusalem. A rival worship had been set up on this mountain were a temple was built in 332 BC. Our Father speaks of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who worshiped and labored at Shekim, which was nearby. Mount Garazim was called the Mount of blessing. Deuteronomy 27:12.  The phrase, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship. The Jews see that they have to worship on Mount Moriah. Moriah was the mountain on which Abraham took his son to offer him as a sacrifice and the temple king Solomon built was on this mountain. When Solomon built the temple, God promised Solomon. I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice and worship. Second chronicles 7:1...

John 4:19

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:19. John 4:19 ESV [19] The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.  This verse, we see the belief of Samaritans about the Messiah. Samaritan accepted only the first five books of the Bible that did not accept the historical books or the wisdom books and the prophetical books. They derived their interpretation of the Messiah from Deuteronomy 18:115, which says the Lord, thy God, will rise up unto you, a prophet from the midst of you of thy Brethren, like unto me and him you shall listen this verse definitely referring to the Messiah. They did not understand the Incarnation they believed that the Messiah would be a Samaritan. The Samaritans were looking for a prophet who would be a mere man. And the Jews were looking for the Messiah who they were thinking as the king, but it was a wrong type of King. They were looking for a king who would deliver them from the Roman Empire, the Samaritans, as they did not ...

John 4:17,18

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 17, and 18. The woman answered him. I have no husband. Jesus said to her, you are right in saying, I have no husband for you had five husbands and the one you are now have is not your husband. What you have said is true. We see Jesus by the gift of the Holy spirit, reveals that she had six husbands. We do not know if she diversed the other husbands or if some are dead.  Jesus clearly speaks about marriage, and divorse in Mark 10 chapter. Some Pharisees came to Jesus and asked him. Is it lawful for a man to divorse his wife. Jesus answered, but from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this reason, man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. So then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, Let not man separate. Whoever diverses his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman di...

John 4:16

Image
Praise the Lord! Today's verse is John 4:16. Jesus said to her, go call your husband and come here.  The woman's sin is now Dealt with. Hence, Jesus is telling her go, call your husband. This is saying to the woman, go call your husband and come here, made her to think about her past life and immoral life. God has given every person a conscience to convict him when he sins. But if we excuse our sin and keep doing the same sin, our conscience no longer convicts us of that sin.  The parable of the prodigal son. We see that he took his father's possession and went for away and lived a reckless life, But when a famine came in his life, the situation of his life convicted him.  Today also situations in our life will convict us of our sins. Jesus says, when the Holy Spirit comes, he will convict us of our sins. Are we living in a life of sin today? We may be involved in many religious ceremonies to cleanse our sins, but what can really cleanse us from our sins? The...

John 4:15

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from  John 4:15 ESV  The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.”  Jesus spoke to the woman of  the Living Water. The Holy Spirit takes them like an arrow to her heart and in a moment's time reveals to her the great need of her life, and as well as at least to a certain degree. What Jesus is actually saying. So, she asks Jesus, give me this water. That is living water. The truth is the woman had thirsted all her life for the Living Water. Her immorality has not slackened this thirst, and neither did many husbands as well as the religion of Samaritans gave no satification at all. Religion cannot satisfy this thirst, which is in us only Jesus can. In the Kasarkode District in a place called kolara, there are two people, one Peter, who is retired from BHEL, is 80 years old, another brother, Sebastian, who is 70 years old. Their families are in the U.S, bu...

John 4:14b

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is John 4, 14, the second part. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water. Welling up to eternal life.  Jesus not only gives us salvation, but he forgives our sins, and he also gives us power to not to sin again. The water of Salvation becomes in us a spring of water. When a woman was caught in adultery, the Pharisees and others wanted to Stone her. When Jesus said, let the one who have not sinned throw the first stone, everyone left, and Jesus asked, have no one condemned you. She said, no one Lord. Jesus said, neither do I condemn you. And from now on, sin no more. The woman might have looked at him with the question, how will that be possible to live without sin? Jesus said to her, and to them, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life here. Jesus is saying when we follow him. We will not walk in darkness that is sin. This, we read in. John 8th ch...

John 4:14a

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse, we will meditate on John 4:14, the first part of it. But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again.  Hallelujah! We will see some of the great truths of these words. So, we will meditate on each word of this verse. The first word, it says "but" this links the hope of this promise to the hopelessness of the previous statement. The previous statement says everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again. It Compares with this physical water to the spiritual water. Why then, all the world did not receive the spiritual drink. The answer is simple man do not want to give up their sin, and they are deceived into believing that by coming to Christ, they will lose their pleasure and gain nothing. They do not realize that they will lose nothing and gain everything. Hallelujah!  The next word, whosoever says, all are lost. Therefore, all can be saved. None are excluded. When Jesus died on Calvar...

John 4:13

Image
Today's verse is from John 4, 13. Jesus said to her, everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again.  Jesus answered and said to her presents him slowly, leading her to the meaning of this great spiritual truth. As Nicodomas in the previous chapter was led to the spiritual truth of being born again. Jesus is leading this Samaritan woman to the spiritual truth of Living Water or the need of Salvation in her life. Nicodomas was highly moral, and this Samaritan was grossly immoral. Yet there was no difference between them. Both were sinners needing the cleansing and salvation of Jesus. You may be very religious, but you need Jesus in your life for your salvation. To Nicodemus, the religious leader Jesus says. You must be born again, but to the Sinner, he slowly leads her to the need of Salvation or the Living Water in a life. Verse 14 says But whoever drinks of this water that I give him shall never thirst. Whosoever drinks of this water will be thirsty again Je...

John 4:12

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4 12.  Are you greater than our Father Jacob? He gave us the well, and drank from it himself, and did his sons and his livestock,  In this question concerning Jacob we observe the claims of the Samaritans, to be the descendant of Abraham, the son of Isaac and actually of Jacob himself who have dug the well. Jacob always seems to be running from someone or something, from Euso his brother, who wanted to kill him, then from Labon his father-in-law. And from the famine in Canaan, he flew to Egypt with his family. When he was fleeing from Esuo, he saw in a vision a ladder and in a vision the Majesty and the glory of God. At Bethel, when he saw God, he worshiped God and woke to take Yahweh as his God at panel, while he was returning back from the his father-in-law Leban Jacob Resseled face to face with God, he taught him the value of continued prayer from one who is helpless Jacob emerged from paniel willing to let his life fa...

John 4:11

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:11  The woman said to him sir you have nothing to draw water with and the well is deep. Where do you get the living water? Jesus was speaking of spiritual things, but the woman was thinking in material terms. In chapter 3 of John, We saw Jesus speaking to Nicodemus of born again, experience and he took it in the material sense. How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?  Usually The Travelers carry a bucket and a rope to draw water, but the woman says, you don't have anything to draw water. Then she asks, Jesus, this questions, where do you get the living water. Today also, millions are asking where do you get the living water? They might not ask the same question. They might be asking, where do I get mukti? Where did I get Shanti? In fact, thay are asking where do I get salvation? Or they are saying, what shall I do to be saved? Many are doing many things to...

John 4:10

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is John 4, 10, Jesus answered her. If you knew the gift of God, And who it is that is saying to you give me a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living Waters.  Hallelujah. What is the gift of God to men? It is the salvation of our soul by which we have the eternal life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  This gift is a free gift to us, but for Jesus, he had to pay a costly prize. First Peter, 1 18, and 19 says, knowing that you were ramsomed from the futile way inherited from your fathers, not with perishable things, such as silver or gold. But with the precious Blood of Christ like that of a lamb without blemish.  Jesus is saying to the woman if you knew who it is, that is saying to you to give me a drink. At that time, she did not know who Jesus was though, later she knew. In John 1 1, it says, in the beginning of the word and ...

John 4:9

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is John 4 9. The Samaritan woman said to him. How is it that you a Jew, Ask for a drink from me a woman of Samaria. For the Jews had no dealings with Samaritans.  This Samaritan woman was astonished to have a Jew asking for water from her because she was a woman and also, she is a Samaritan. The Jews have no dealings with Samaritans, this we have already discussed about it. At first, to this woman, Jesus was simply a thirsty, Jew, asking her for water, but as the story unfolds, we see her understanding of who he is, is developing First, as the one who makes great promises Jesus promised her the Living Water. Then acknowledges him as a prophet in verse 19. It says I perceive that you are a prophet. And finally, she knew him as the Messiah, the savior, the savior of this world, the Redeemer of this world and that is in verse 25, 26 and 29. Increasing understanding of who Christ is, this is a common experience for all believers because it...

John 4:8

Image
Praise the lord today's verses from John 4 and verse 8 . Disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.  The disciples of Jesus had gone to the samaritan city to buy food something is beginning to happen to them before they had met Jesus it was entirely unlikely that they would even talk to Samaritans but today they have gone to buy food from the samaritan's market. There is a change in the disciples. The barrier of cast is going down today.  We see the lives of millions changed when they had come to Jesus. People who had been addicted to alcohol and drugs have been changed.  The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17-18. [17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. [18] All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;  Have you life been changed by Jesus today? Isaiah 43:18-19 ESV [18] “Remember not the former things, nor consid...

John 4:7

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:7. A woman from Samaria. Came to draw water. Jesus said to her, give me a drink.  Jesus, the creator of universe and the judge of all, man meets one of the wildest of Sinners. But he is there not to condemn her but to seek and to save. Here we see Jesus as the barrier Breaker. As we have seen before the Jews, hate the Samaritans, the Jewish Samaritan hatred had been for more than 400 years. The Samaritan woman was astonished that Jesus a Jew should speak to her a Samaritan. But there is still another way in which Jesus was breaking down the barriers. This Samaritan was a woman, a strict Rabbi for been forbidden even to greet a woman in public. He Might not even speak to his own wife or his daughter or his sister in public. To be seen speaking to a woman in public, was the end of his reputation and, Jesus spoke to the woman. Not only the she was a woman but she was a woman of notorious character. And Jesus spoke to her. Here...

John 4:6

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 6.  Jacob's, well was there, So Jesus waried as he was from his journey was sitting beside the well, it was about the sixth hour.  Jacob's. Well, was there, there is no reference in the Old Testament about this Well, Even today, this place and the well is a pilgrim spot in the Palestine city of neblus in the West Bank. The well currently situated inside an Eastern Orthodox Church and a monastery. Jesus was waried because of his journey as it was the sixth hour sixth hour is 12 noon according to our time because Jewish time starts at 6 00, am in the morning.
