John 3:9

Image
John 3, 9. Nicodemus said to him, how can these things be? Was speaking to Nicodemus. He said, unless you are born again, you will not see the kingdom of God. But Nicodamus did not understand. So, Jesus explained. Step by step, what is it to be born again. But he still thinking of the natural. Whatever knowledge we have, unless the Holy spirit gives us the understanding, you will not be able to know the things written in the word of God or the Bible. The best way to understand Bible is to go through the Bible. Bible is the best interpretation for the Bible. If you are not able to understand the verse, we find out the verses written about that in other parts of the Bible. Yes, if you are not able to understand what is born again, The Bible says, Romans 10 9. That if you confess. With your mouth. Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from dead you will be saved. Yes, you are going to be born again when we submit ourselves to Christ, and also believe...

John 3:8

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3 8. The wind blows, where it wishes. And you hear it sound. But you do not know where it comes from or where it goes, so it is with everyone who is born of the spirit.  In this way, Jesus explains the born-again experience. He likens it to the wind which comes and goes, but it is impossible to tell exactly how or what causes it to blow in a certain direction or exactly where it originates.  The idea is one cannot deny it's presence because it can be readily felt. However, it's coming and going is a mystery. So it is with everyone who is born of the spirit. The born again experience is beyond comprehension. One knows that God is the author of the Salvation and that he carries it out by the power of the Holy Spirit, according to the faith evidenced in Jesus, And what he did at Calvary. We also know it is a gift of God. However, The means of, in which the Lord. This, the changing of a human heart immediately upon faith i...

John 3:7

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3 7,  Do not Marvel. That I said you must be born again.  Do not Marvel. The Amplified Bible says, do not be surprised or astonished this addresses, Nicodamus to the surprise, which Jesus saw on his face. In the few movement time, nicodomas finds that their old ideas of the national privileges and the purification by the sacrifice and of the soundly thought principles and habits meant nothing at all to the Lord. Yes, many people will stand before God one day and find out that all their good works, Ritual, religion and beautiful ceremonies are absolutely nothing to do with being right with God. The phrase you must be born again says it all. This and this alone will be recognized by the creator of all ages. Entrance into human families is  by natural birth and into the Divine family is by the spiritual birth. It does not matter how spiritual a person may talk and seem to claim to be If he lives in the principles that a...

John 3:6

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3, 6.  That, which is born of the flesh is flesh and that, which is born of the spirit is Spirit. The phrase that which is born of Flesh is flesh, has to do with the natural birth. The phrase and that which is born of the spirit is spirit, has to do with what God alone can solely do in our lives. Human beings by themselves are flesh. And their power is limited to what the flesh can do. But the Essence of the spirit is power and life which are Beyond human power and human life. When the spirit takes Position of us, the defeated life of human nature becomes a Victorious life of God. Spiritual birth is absolutely necessary for every man, because all people apart from Christ are sinful by Nature separated from God and in opposition to God, from the birth. On Our own We are not capable of having a close personal relationship with God without the life, transforming power of the Holy spirit. Spiritual birth happens to those who repen...

John 3:5

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3 5.  Jesus answered, truly. Truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  John chapter 3, 1 to 8. Jesus discusses one of the foundational doctrines of teachings of the Christian faith that is spiritual birth. What is born of water has been debated, by many Bible Scholars. Some say water means, natural birth of a man, others believe that it signifies spiritual cleansing by the word of God. There are others who say that Jesus was probably referring to the cleansing or the spiritual purifying work of the Holy Spirit as it is given in Titus 3 5 it says the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit. One thing is the Regeneration or the spiritual birth is an inward recreating of a spiritual person, spiritually, a life transforming, a change or wreak making of a person's attitude thinking action and occurs from inside out, It marks the beginning of a new and a...

John 3:3

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3, 3,  Jesus answered him "truly truly I say to you unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.  This was something totally different than what this ruler of the Jews was anticipating. In this few words, Jesus would address Israel's great error as well as proclaim, the fundamental truth. Actually, the most important truth of all is addressed. Israel's error and man's need. First, the Israel's error, Israel had come to a place where a religious leaders believed that simply being born into a Israelite home constituted salvation. They felt that simply being a child of Abraham and therefore a true Jew consisted of Salvation. Here Jesus addresses the greatest need of the human family the need to be born again which constitutes of Redemption. In effect, Jesus is saying that this applies to all even the Jews, no matter that they are the children of Abraham. As well, this means that all men are sinn...

John 3:1

Image
Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3 1. Now there was a man of the Pharisees. Named Nicodamus a ruler of the Jews.  For the most part, we see that Jesus was surrounded by Ordinary People. But here, we see that he was in contact with an aristocracy of Jerusalem, nicodamas was a wealthy man. We see this when Jesus died Nikodamus brought for his body, a mixture of Mayr and aloes, weighing about a hundred pound, only a wealthy person can do that. Nicodomas was a Pharisee. A Pharisee entered into a Brotherhood Covenant by taking a pledge in front of three Witnesses. That throughout his life, he will be obeying, the word, the law. To the Jews. The law was the most sacred thing in the world. The law was first five books of the Old Testament. The scribes and Pharisees are set out to extract from the great principles of the law. Every fine, finite number of rules and regulations to govern every conceivable situations in life. In other words, they change the law of the g...

John 5:54

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 54.  This was now the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.  John highlights seven specific Miracles, also called as signs that Jesus performed before  his death on the cross.  The first one, the Turning of water into wine, the first miracle. Second, the healing of the Royal official's son, Jesus word, brought that Miracle  Third healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda. He was sick for 38 years Four feeding of 5 000 men Besides women and children by just five loaves and two fishes, and the remaining was 12 basketful. Fifth, Jesus walking on the water, demonstrating his divine power  Sixth healing of the blind man. This man was blind from his birth,  Seven Rising Lazarus from dead, who was in grave for four days.  The second Miracle Jesus heals the official's son. The important thing in this miracle is the child was at the point of death. Jesus was about 20 miles aw...

John 4:52,53

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 52, and 53,  So he asked them the hour when he began to get better. And they said to him yesterday at the seventh hour and the fever left him. The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, your son will live, and he himself believed and all his household. The man was either not certain that it would be as Jesus said, and now was greatly encouraged over the verification, not only of the healing, but the exact time it was carried out or else, he believed fully and was overjoyed to see his faith rewarded  to this degree. Jesus is ever seeking to increase the faith in the hearts of those who believe In him. He is dealing with us, He is increasing our faith in several different ways. He himself believed and all his household. This speaks of all becoming converts to Christ, so his son was not only healed and spared from death, but as well as the greatest gift of Salvation was given to all. What a blessed day! It would ha...

John 4:51

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is John 4: 51,  as he was going down. His servants met him and told him that his son was recovering.  It must have been hard for him to turn away and go home with Jesus assurance that his child would live and he had faith enough to turn and walk back the 20 mile road with nothing but Jesus assurance to comfort his heart. It is the very essence of faith that we should believe that what Jesus says is true. If Jesus says a thing, it is not the case that it may be true, it is the case that it must be true because Jesus words are yes and amen. This phrase is servant met him, proclaims a beautiful story. No doubts their servants, having sat beside for some time, slowly watching his son weaken until it was the point of death. All of a sudden they see, a marvelous or miraculous sign. The fever instantly left. It was totally gone, and the boy is completely well. One can imagine the joy that must have filled that home. And some of his servants left immedia...

John 4:49,50

Today's verse is from John 4, 49, and 50.  The official said to him, sir, come down before my child dies. Jesus said to him go, your son will live. The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way.  Sir, come down before my child dies. We find that the man has come to a place that he knows Jesus is the only answer. No doubt the doctors have long since been called in, but of no avail, so the only hope was Christ, as Christ is the only hope for all the humanity.  But again, his faith was tested. Jesus does not agree to go with him, he just said. Go, your son will live. The man would have been taken by surprise. In effect, Jesus is telling him that he does not have to be there personally for the miracle to be brought out. But that is, word will suffice. He was a man who is accustomed to being obeyed. People obeyed him, but now he realizes that Jesus is not going to accompany him to Capernaum. But he had the promise from Jesus Christ that his son will liv...

John 4:48

Today's verse is John 4, 48, so Jesus said to him. Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe.  This man did not believe when he came to him. That is why Jesus says to him unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe, but after God gave him the promise, he believed in him, and he went to his house. 00:32 Jesus had a way of making sure that a person has earnest desire. If he had gone back or was too proud to accept a rebuke, Jesus would have known that his faith was not real. When Elisha  asked Syrian Commander to dip himself in the Jordan River seven times to be cleansed of his lepercy, He turned back but his servant, who advised him to do so, and  He dipped himself in Jordan for seven times, and he was healed. We read it in second Kings fifth chapter. When a Canaanite woman came to Jesus for the healing of a demon possessed daughter, Jesus told her, it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. But she did not go back,...

John 4:46,47

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 46,47 John 4:46-47 ESV [46] So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill. [47] When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Today, we see the ministry of Jesus in Galilee. He had come to Cana were he had made water into wine. Here. A official of Capernaum came to Jesus. It is about 20 miles, he came there. The Greek word for the official translated is basilicos, Which is translated as an officer or a prince or one of the royal family. And the commentary says that he may be an officer of Herod, antipas Tetra of Galilee. Many great people came to see Jesus in John 3rd chapter. Nicodemus came to Jesus. He was a member of the Senadrin, the ruling party of the Jews. In Mark 5th chapter, we see Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, came to Jesus as his...

John 4:45

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 45.  So, when he came to Galilee, the galileans welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Feast, for they too had gone to the feast.  Yes, Jesus was there in the feast, and he had done great things, Miracles there. The people of Galilee were there, and they saw. The Samaritans believed in Jesus, not because of someone's else story, but because they have heard him speak things. The like of which they had never heard. The galileans believed in him, not because someone has told them about him, but because they have seen him do in Jerusalem, things the like of which they have not, or never seen. The galileans had gone to Jerusalem because it is commanded in Deuteronomy 16:16, that three times in a year all thier males must appear before the Lord thier God in the place which he chose, that is the temple in Jerusalem. At the Feast of the unleavened bread and at the Feast of weeks and at the Feast of the Tabernac...

John 4:43,44

Today's verse is from John 4, 43, and 44.  After two days, he departed from Galilee. For, Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own Hometown. Jesus was in Samaria for two days and preached the gospel. There would have been great joy in the town. After Jesus, it was Philip, who went to Samaria. In Acts 8:5-8 we see [5] Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ. [6] And the crowds with one accord paid attention to what was being said by Philip, when they heard him and saw the signs that he did. [7] For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. [8] So there was much joy in that city. There is Joy in a city where the gospel is preached. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Philip, preached the gospel signs and wonders happed, the Samaritans believed, and they were baptized in water, and later they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Jesus tes...

John 4:42

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 42.  They said to the woman. It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves. We know that this is indeed the savior of the world.  The Samaritans are saying to the woman that it is no longer your testimony that made us to believe in Christ, but we have heard him. We have believed in him. We have had a personal experience. That is to say, we have tasted him in our life. The Bible says. In Psalms 34;8, O taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man that trusts in him.  We may have heard about Jesus, but have you received him as your personal savior in your life? This is a personal experience. This is one of the performed statement ever made that Jesus is the savior of the world. It came from the lips of the Samaritans. It is only in 1st John 4, 14. We find this tremendous title it says we have seen and testified that the father has sent his son to be the savior of the world....

John 4:40,41

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4:40-41  [40] So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there two days. [41] And many more believed because of his word.  A group of Samaritans came to Jesus. There had been so convinced by the testimony of the Samaritan woman and the Glorious change in her life, so they decided to see it for themselves and came to Jesus and asked Jesus to stay with them for two days. This is a beautiful moment in the ministry of Jesus, because much of the time he was rejected by the Jews and the Pharisees. The hostility on the part of the Jews have already started, and this would just increase from this point forward until the day he would be crucified. He stayed with them in the Samaritan town for two days. No Jews. Would do that because their heart was ruled by hatred towards the Samaritans. But Jesus heart was ruled by the love towards the lost. One thing was sure, this two days was the greatest time tha...

John 4:39

Today's verse is from John 4, 39.  Many Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony. He told me all that I ever did.  The Samaritan woman's testimony was very simple at this testimony had brought many to Christ. She had not been expert in sharing the gospel, or she was not a scholar in the Bible but she just told them. He told me all that I ever did. The blind man also Chapter 9 of John was healed by Jesus just said. One thing I do know I was blind, but now I see.  Your story of how Jesus had transformed your life is one of the most powerful tools you have in sharing your faith. Revelation 12:11 declares they triumphed by the blood of the lamb and the world of their testimony. Sharing your testimony is not about being perfect, but it is about the authenticity. Your testimony doesn't have to be dramatic to be impactful. Perhaps, Jesus brought peace during a difficult season helped you to overcome fear or give you a new sense of purpose. T...

John 4:37,38

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 37, and 38  For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”  One Sows, and another reeps proclaims that God has a special Ministry for each individual, whether it is small or big, However, that Ministry must fit into the plan of God. Paul says in First Corinthians 3, 6, I have planted,  Apollo's watered, but God gave the increase. Here, Paul says Evangelism is a teamwork, so whatever you do for God, it is God who brings it to completion. So never lose heart. Do the work of God speak the word of God. I have sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Jesus is explaining to his disciples, and in that matter, to all of us that whatever is done for the cause of Christ is brought to completion as a result of much labor on the part of many different people, many are unaware of the input of others. A...

John 4:36

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:36, already.  John 4:36 ESV Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.  Here, Jesus is saying about the rewards we receive for doing God's work. When we bring souls to the kingdom of God, we are truly rewarded. Their God's reward starts immediately. They have the satisfication and the joy of bringing a soul to Jesus. It is also the deep love we have for those people whom we have brought to Christ. When we bring people to Jesus, we not only receive the reward in this world, but also in the world to come. In heaven, we have a great reward, Daniel. 12:3. Those who are wise will shine like brightness of the Heavenly expanse and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. First Peter 5:4 and when the chief Shepherd Jesus appears, you will receive the Crown of Glory that will not fade away. Revelation 22:12 Jesus is saying...

John 4:35

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 35.  Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.   Here, Jesus is comparing the agricultural terms of harvest to the Harvest of souls, that is, people turning to the Lord. In Israel, there was a period of about four months between the end of sowing season and the beginning of the Harvest. Jesus was saying that they need not wait so long. At that time, and in that place, a harvest was there for the reaping he was referring to the readiness of the Samaritans and others to believe in him when they heard the truth. We see in verse 39 many of the Samaritans of that City believed in him because of the word of the woman. In our time too, there is always a harvest ready somewhere always people prepared by God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ. God's servants should seek for them with Zeal and confidence in God. 2000 years from ...

John 4:34

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 34.  Jesus said to them, my food is to do the will of him who sent me and to his work. Even though physical bread definitely is necessary. It is the spiritual need, which really counts. Tragically, this is reversed even in the lives of most Believers. Too much attention is paid on the physical bread and not on the spiritual bread. Are you spending time in the presence of God reading the word of God, which is our spiritual food. Next, we see to do the will of God.  The will of God is the single, most important thing in the world. There is definitely a will for the entirety of the world, and there is a definite will for each individual believer. Nothing happens by chance in the life of a Believer. God has a definite place purpose and position for every single believer. When a Believer as a proper relationship with God you will know God's will, for his life, God will talk to us. God will clearly speak to us His will for our life. Bec...

John 4:33

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 33,  so the disciples said to one another. Has anyone brought him something to eat?  Here, disciples were only thinking in carnal terms, whereas Jesus spoke almost exclusively in spiritual terms. No, no one has brought him any physical food to eat, but the Holy Spirit has brought him a spiritual meal. Are we looking to the Lord to supply our needs or to men? That is why Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord's Prayer. Give us this day, our daily bread. A baby or a infant is dependent on his parents for everything for food, clothing, and shelter. So, are we dependent on God for all our needs? So this petition deals with the needs of our physical frame. Greek word translated as bread not only represents food, but is also symbolic of all our physical needs. To Martin Luther everything necessary for the preservation of life is bread and includes food, healthy body, good weather, house, wife, children, and a good government and peace. Her...

John 4:31,32

Praise the Lord.  Today's verse is from John 4, 31, and 32. Meanwhile, the disciples were urging him saying Rabbi eat. But he said to them, I have food to eat that you do not know about.  When the disciples arrived from the market after buying food, Jesus was finishing his conversation with the Samaritan woman, and she left to go to the town in order to spread the good news. The disciples are parallaxed, at Jesus, dealing with her, but eventually when he seemed to express no appetite for the food which they have brought. They were urging him to eat out of concern for his health. That had come a long way. And they had to go a long way. And they knew that Jesus needed strength for the journey.  When Jesus had fasted for 40 days without food, Satan came to him and said, if you are the Son of God, command that these Stones become bread. Jesus answered and said, it is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but By every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God". Food is...

John 4:30

Today's verse is from John 4, 30.  They went out of the town and were coming to him.  The Samaritans came out of the town to come to Jesus. In John 4, 4, we see that he had to pass through Samaria. And now we know why Jesus has to go through Samaria, the Holy Spirit, knew that they were hungry Hearts in Samaria, who had to come to Christ. Today, also, there are many hungry hearts in the world who need Jesus, but there is no one to tell them about Jesus and to bring them to the gospel. Will you be that person to bring them to Jesus Christ? The Christian Life is based on the twin pillars of Discovery and communication. Discovery of Salvation in Christ Jesus and the communication of the good news of the Gospel. No Discovery is complete until the desire to share it fills our heart, and we cannot communicate Christ to others until we have discovered him for ourselves. We are living in a trouble some days, with great needs worldwide, regardless of the country or place. The nee...

John 4:29

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 29.  Come see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ? The word come is the greatest evidence of all that this woman had received  "Salvation'. When a person receives salvation, they hungrily desire to bring others to Christ. The glory of the Salvation is not obvious unless one has accepted Christ. When this happens and suddenly the glory appears and the first desire is that others should know this as well. Come see a man who told me all that I ever did is once again the epicenter of true Bible Christianity. Christianity is not a philosophy, nor a religion. It is really as stated a man, the man, Jesus Christ. Whether Jesus told her everything or not, we do not know. However, he told her enough that she was thoroughly convinced as to who and what he actually was. This is what makes Christianity so different than the religions of the world. All religions have to do is with the externals only. Here we see an...

John 4:28

Praise The Lord today's verse is from John 4:28.  So, the woman left her  water jar and went away into the town and said to the people come. Here we see the excitement of the woman, Who found Jesus see forgot the purpose she had come there, and she left the  water jar and went away into the town and said to the people come. So she became the first evangelist, the preacher of the Gospel to the Gentile Nations. And so effective was her preaching, We see that it caused a Revival. She had received the Living Water that is salvation. And then she said about this to others. God has created us with a purpose. God purpose for creating us was to share all he had, with us and he is with us. This is the pattern of. Personal evangelism, sharing what we have. God sent Jesus with a mission and with power and authority. He send him to the people not to condemn or to judge, But to set people free. This is the mission Christ has passed on to us. You and I are God's Messengers like this S...

John 4:27

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 27.  Just then, his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, what do you seek, or why are you talking with her?  Here, we see that the disciples came back from the town where they had gone to purchase food. The marveled that he was talking to a woman. The Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans. The rabies did not Converse with a woman in public or instruct them in the law in the public. Actually, this was one of the reasons that the Pharisees and the ruling hierarchy of Israel hated Jesus because he Completely ignored the man-made rules and obeyed the will of the father. Jesus lifted woman to their true position. They Ministered unto him with their substance. The shared his miraculous, healing power, the feeding and  the teaching. They anointed his feet with Ointment. The wept over his Agony when he was going to the Cross. They followed him to the cross. They were at this Sepulc...

Prayer for May month

Praise the Lord today! We have come to the new month of May. I want to pray for you. I want to give you this promise verse. In 22, 12, it says. And behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me to give to everyone according to his work. We are living in the last days. Jesus is coming soon, and what are we to do? First thing we need to live a holy life, pleasing him. The verse says in Hebrew 11, 6, but without faith, it is impossible to please him. For he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Yes, God is going to reward us for whatever we are doing. Whatever good things we are doing, God is going to reward us. Let's look to God,  second thing What we need to do is to tell others about Jesus because these are the last days. The time is short. And then in Revelation 19, 11 to 16, when we read. John sees Jesus coming, he says. Now, I saw Heavens open and behold a white horse, and he who sat on him was called ...

John 4:26

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 26.  Jesus said to her I, who speak to you, am he? Jesus declares himself to be the Messiah to this Samaritan woman. In John 9th chapter, we see Jesus revealing himself to that blind man who was healed by Jesus. And Jesus said, do you believe in the son of man and he answered, and who is he, so that I may believe in him, and Jesus said to him, you have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you. Jesus did not show himself or declare himself to be the Messiah to the religious leaders, but to the poor people to the Blind and to the Samaritan woman, he declared "I am the Messiah". I am the son of man. It is the another word spoken about him, Told about Messiah, the son of man. But Peter knew that Jesus was the Messiah because he lived with him. Here we see in Matthew 16th chapter Verses 13 onward. Jesus asked the disciple who does people say that the son of man is?  They answered that they said different things, but again,...

John 4:25

Praise the Lord. Today's words is from. John 4th, chapter 25th verse. The woman said to him. I know that Messiah is coming. He who is called Christ when he comes he will declare all things to us. Messiah is a Hebrew word, and it means the anointed one. And the Greek word for Messiah is  Christos, from which Christ the english name comes. The Samaritans were waiting for the Messiah, so were the Jews. We see in Matthew 16th chapter Peter, declaring Jesus as the Messiah. Jesus asked his disciples, who do people say that the son of man is? They said different things. But then he asked this question to the disciples, he said to them. But what do you say that I am? And Simon, Peter, answered. You are the Christ, the son of living God. How did Peter know that Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ, the son of the Living God. We have to see how it all started. John's gospel first chapter 35th on verse we see that John the Baptist introduced Jesus to his disciples and two of his disciples ...

John 4:24

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is. John 4, 24 God is spirit and those who worship Him must Worship in spirit and Truth. God is spirit does not mean that God is a wind or a vapor or a smoke.  John was taken up to heaven in Revelation 4th chapter. His description of God on the throne. And he who sat there had the appearance of Jasper and kermalim. And round the throne was a rainbow that had appearance of emerald. The elders fell down and worshiped him, saying, Worthy. Are you, our Lord, Our God. God is spirit means God is a spirit being. This indicates the attributes of God. The first attribute is, he is omnipotent. That is, God is all-powerful. He has the power to carry into effect  whatever God May Will. Second is, he is omniscient. He is all knowledgeable. All things part, past, present, or future is an open scroll to him. Hallelujah! Third He is omnipresent is present universally and simultaneously in every part of his wide domain. He is present  everywhere at all the t...

John 4:23b

Praise the lord we will continue to meditate on John 4:23, but the hour is coming and is now here when the true worshippers will worship the father in Spirit and truth for the father in seeking such people to worship him  when the true worshippers will worship the father in Spirit and in truth. How can we worship the father in Spirit and truth? Jesus said you shall love the lord your God with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind and with all your strength Mark, 12:32 love the father God with all that is  within us. We need to have a Fellowship with our god. This is only possible if you have the greatest gift of god, that is salvation. You should have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior knowing that Jesus was taken your sins on the cross and by repending from your sins you accept Jesus you make him as the lord and savior of your life. Worship must be in Spirit that is engaging the world heart. Unless there is a real passion for god there is no worship in ...

John 4:23a

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 23, but the hour is coming and is now here. When the true worshipers will worship the father. And truth for the father is seeking such people to worship him. We are going to meditate on the first part of this verse today. The hour is coming and is now here. This also said in verse 21, the hour is coming. Here, the time is emphasized. It is now here. Jesus is now here. And the things are about to change. Every single prophecy of the Old Testament. All the sacrifices along with the feast days, as well as the Tabernacle and the temple stood and all pointed out to one person, the Lord Jesus Christ. He was and is the Fulfillment of all these things and all were done for a purpose of opening up the way that the Holy Spirit would come down and dwell in the hearts and lives of Believers in a manner which would not be done previously. When Jesus died on Calvary thereby satisfying the claims of heavenly Justice and defeating Satan, as well as...

John 4:22

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 22.  You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know for the Salvation is from the Jews.  Jesus was telling her what was right and wrong? A Samaritan style of worship was wrong. It was that which God would not accept. Irrespective of how much time they worshiped or how much they used his name. The Samaritan worship was founded not on love, but on ignorance and fear. As we have seen when the foreign people were brought to dwell in Samaria, they brought their own gods with them second Kings 17:29. We read about it. We are told that a priest from Bethel came and told them how they should fear the lord second Kings 17:28. But all the probability is that they merely added Jehovah to their list of gods because they were superstitiously afraid to leave him. Irrespective of Israel's present black slidden condition and a departure from the true God, despite the continuing of the religious ceremonies and rituals still, that whic...

John 4:21

Praise the Lord! Verses John 4, 21. Jesus said to her, believe me the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. Will you worship the father?  Jesus says to the woman, believe me. Jesus is asking her to believe him. And he is also confirming a statement which he said, I perceive that you are a prophet Jesus saying, I am the prophet Moses has spoken about. In effect, he is also saying that he holds the answer. And rather than believing the arguing factions among the Samaritans and Jews, she was rather to believe him. Today, also argument rage over religion. However, the cry one criteria and one foundation and one principle, which must be heated, is the Lord Jesus Christ. When we stand before God. What the religions or denominations have said, or  the church have said, will not matter, but only what God Said will matter. So, Jesus says, believe me, Hallelujah. Jesus said the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the ...

John 4:20

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 20.  Our fathers worship on this mountain. But you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.  Our fathers worshiped in this mountain speaks of Mount Garrison. It was about 50 miles north of Jerusalem. A rival worship had been set up on this mountain. This Temple was built in 332 BC. Our Father speaks of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who worshiped and labored at Sheikkim, which was nearby. Mount Garasim was called the Mount of blessing. Deuteronomy 27:12. The phrase, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship. The Jews see that they have to worship on Mount Moriah. Mariah was the mountain on which Abraham took his son to offer him as a sacrifice and the temple, Solomon built was on this mountain. When Solomon built the temple, God promised Solomon. I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice and worship. 2 chronicles 7:12. Jesus ministered...

John 4:19

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 19.  So I perceive that you are a prophet. This verse, we see the belief of Samaritans about the Messiah. Samaritan accepted only the first five books of the Bible that did not accept the historical books or the wisdom books and the prophetical books. They derived their interpretation of the Messiah from. Deuteronomy 18, 15, which says the Lord, thy God, will rise up unto you, a prophet from the midst of you of thy Brethren, like unto me and him you shall listen  This search, definitely referring to the Messiah. They did not understand the Incarnation that believed that the Messiah would be a Samaritan. The Samaritans were looking for a prophet who would be a mere man. And the Jews were looking for the Messiah who they were thinking as the king, but it was a wrong type of King. They were looking for a king who would deliver them from the Roman Empire. The Samaritans, as they did not believe in the books or from Joshua to Malachi...

John 4:17,18

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 17, and 18.  The woman answered him. I have no husband. Jesus said to her, you are right in saying, I have no husband for you have had five husbands and the one you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true. We see Jesus by the gift of the Holy spirit, reveals that she had six husbands. We do not know if she diversed the other husbands or if  some are dead. But Jesus clearly speaks about marriage, and divorce  in Mark 10 chapter. Some Pharisees came to Jesus and asked him. Is it lawful for a man to diverse his wife. Jesus answered, but from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this reason, man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. So then they are no longer two, but one flesh Therefore, what God has joined together Let not man separate. Whoever diverses his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a w...

John 4:16

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is John 4, 16.  Jesus said to her, go call your husband and come here. The woman's sin is now now dwelt with. Hence, Jesus is telling her go, call thy husband. This is saying to the woman, go call your husband and come here, made her to think about her past life and a moral life. God has given every person a conscience to convict him when he sins. But if we excuse our sin and keep doing the same sin, our conscience no longer convicts us of that sin. The parable of the prodigal son. We see that he took his father's possession and went and lived a reckless life, but when a famine came in his life, the situation of his life convicted him. Today also situations in our life will convict us of our sins. Jesus says, when the Holy Spirit comes, he will convict us of our sins. Are we living in a life of sin today? We may be involved in many religious ceremonies, but what can really cleanse us from our sins? The Bible clearly tells us in first John 1, 7...

John 4:15

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 15.  The woman said to him, sir  give me this water so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water. Jesus spoke to her about the Living Water. The Holy Spirit takes them like an arrow to her heart and in a moment's time reveals to her the great need of her life, and as well as at least to a certain degree. What Jesus is actually saying? So, she asks Jesus, give me this water, this living water. The truth is this woman has thirsted all her life for the Living Water. Her immorality has not slackened this thirst, and neither did many husbands. As well as the religion of Samaritans gave no satification at all. Religion cannot satisfy this thirst, which is in us only Jesus can. In the Kasarcode District in a place called kolara, there are two people, one Peter, who is retired from BHEL and is 80 years old, another brother, Sebastian, who is 70 years old. Their families are in the U.S, but they stay here and go out to ...

John 4:14b

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is John 4, 14, the second part. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water. Welling up to eternal life? Jesus not only gives us salvation, but he forgives our sins, and he also gives us power to not to sin again. The water of Salvation becomes in us a spring of water. When a woman was caught in adultery, the Pharisees and others wanted to Stone her. When Jesus said, let the one who have not sinned thow the first stone, everyone left, and Jesus asked, have no one condemned you. She said, no one Lord. Jesus said, neither do I condemn you. And from now on, sin no more. The woman might have looked at him with the question, how will that be possible to live without sin? Jesus said to her, and to them, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life here. Jesus is saying when we follow him. We will not walk in darkness that is sin. This, we read in. John 8th chapter in the b...

John 4:14a

Today's verse, we will meditate on John 4, 14, the first part of it. But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. Hallelujah! We will see some of the great truths of these words. So, we will meditate on each word of this verse. The first word "but" it says what links the hope of this promise to their hopelessness of the previous statement? The previous statement says everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again. It Compares with this physical water to the spiritual water. Why then, all the world did not receive the spiritual drink. The answer is simple man do not want to give up their sin, and they are deceived into believing that by coming to Christ, they will lose their pleasure and gain nothing. They do not realize that they will lose nothing and gain everything.  The next word, whosoever says, all are lost, therefore, all can be saved. None are excluded. When Jesus died on Calvary, he died for all the mankind, and for al...
