John 5:45

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 5:45.

Do you think that I will accuse you to the Father,  there is one who accuses you, Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

Jesus said, I do not accuse you to the Father, John 3:17 says, for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Moses was the greatest leader that the Israel people had. They had set their hope in him. Moses had written the first five books of the Bible. This is called Torah, which is considered the greatest of the books of the Bible by the Jews. When the Israelities were slaves under Egypt, they cried unto God.Exodus  2:23,24 The people of Israel groaned because of their slavery, and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue, from slavery, came up to God. God heard their groaning, and remembered his covenant, and sent Moses to deliver them.

Moses led them out of Egypt, and when they were faced with the Red Sea on one side, and the pharaoh's army on the other side, it was Moses who prayed for them, and God made a way for them in the Red Sea.

When Moses went up to the mountain for 40 days fasting and prayer, and to receive the ten commandments, the people of Israel, they had sinned by making a golden idols of a calf, and they worshipped it. It was Moses that prayed for them in Exodus 32:32 Moses said, if you forgive them, forgive them, if not, please blot me out of your book that you have written. Moses was ready to forfeit heaven, and God forgave them. When God refused to go with them, Moses prayed. Exodus 33:15 if your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. God said, my presence will go with you. Amen, hallelujah. Today God's presence will go with us because we are the children of God, because Jesus died for us, and we became the children of God.

Prayer

Let's look to God in prayer. O Father, I thank you for this day. God, Thank you for your grace, thank you for your mercy. Lord, you have been our strength. You have given us your grace to day because of Jesus. I thank you, Lord, that your presence is there with us. Let your presence go with us to day. We commit ourselves to you. Jesus name, I pray. Amen. Amen. God bless you.
