John 4:48


 Today's verse is John 4, 48, so Jesus said to him. Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe. 

This man did not believe when he came to him. That is why Jesus says to him unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe, but after God gave him the promise, he believed in him, and he went to his house.

Jesus had a way of making sure that a person has earnest desire. If he had gone back or was too proud to accept a rebuke, Jesus would have known that his faith was not real. When Elisha  asked Syrian Commander to dip himself in the Jordan River seven times to be cleansed of his lepercy, He turned back but his servant, who advised him to do so, and  He dipped himself in Jordan for seven times, and he was healed. We read it in second Kings fifth chapter. When a Canaanite woman came to Jesus for the healing of a demon possessed daughter, Jesus told her, it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. But she did not go back, she said "Yes, Lord, even the dogs feed on the crumbs, which fall from the masters table". Jesus said to her o woman, great is your faith, It shall be done for you as you wish. We read it in Matthew 15th, chapter 21-28. 

There are three types of people in the world relative to Christ.

First, those who believe, even though they have not seen which constitutes the highest form of faith. Jesus said to the doubting Thomas because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.

 The second type of people are those who must have a tangible outward sign of a miracle so that they will believe.

The third type of people are those who do not believe, even though Miracles happen in their life. 

Let us examine ourselves. Which type of people are we? Let us be people who will believe, even if you have not seen, even if the miracle did not happen.

Prayer 

Let us believe in Jesus. Let us pray, Heavenly Father. I thank you for this day. God, we commit ourselves into your hands. Oh God, we believe in. You, O Father, whatever happens in our life. We believe in Jesus. We thank you. We praise you. For this, we commit this day to your hands in Jesus name, I pray.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4th chapter and verses one and two. We are studying from the fourth chapter of John from today. Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees have heard that Jesus was baptizing more disciples than John, although Jesus himself did not baptize but only his disciples. Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4 5. As he came to the town of Samaria. Called psychar near the field that Jacob had given to his son, Joseph. Hallelujah. In this verse, we see that John the author of this book, had an accurate knowledge of the land of Israel, And also he knew the history of that land. In Genesis 33 19. We see that when Jacob came back to the land of Israel from the house of Leban his father in law, he brought This place For a hundred pieces of silver. It was called the city of Sheikhim.  Jacob says he had given Joseph one portion above his brother. In Genesis 50:25. Then Joseph took an oath from the children of Israel saying, God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.
