John 3:23



Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3:23. John also was baptizing at  Anon near Salem because water was Plentiful there. And people were coming and being baptized. Jesus started baptizing, the people. 

And here we see that John the baptist also continued to baptize people at Arenon near Salem. This place there was plenty of water. Plenty of water was needed for baptism. This indicates that it was not a sprinkling baptism, which many people do. According to the Bible, it is an immersion baptism after a person accepts Jesus, as their savior. Mark 16 15 and 16 says, go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the wall creation, whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.

But whoever does not believe will be condemned. Hallelujah. Here we see that a person has to understand the gospel and believe that means he is not a baby. He is a grown-up person. Who understands what is salvation. Whoever does not believe will be condemned. Romans 6 4 says we are buried therefore with him by baptism into death.

Baptism in water for a Christian is a symbol of his or her identification with Christ. The meaning of baptism. In Greek, is to be immersed being put fully under the water. It also symbolizes. A spiritual cleansing. It is an outward physical act that represent an inner spiritual reality. God's gift of forgiveness and salvation has been accepted by the person identifies with Jesus Christ in the death and burial going under the water, and is united with him in his resurrected life, when accompanied by true faith, Baptism is a sign of a Believer's rejection of sin and full commitment to Christ. Actually Christ arose from the dead. There, those who truly follow him will have the power to live a new life. That's why Jesus said, you follows me will not walk in darkness in the sin because I am the light of this world.

Yes, are we following Christ? Are we following him and living in that light? 

Prayer 

Let us pray. Holy Father, I thank you for these words for God. Thank you, Lord. And as we have been baptized, I pray that we will live in the life pleasing to you. We commit our lives once again to your hands. Oh God! Help us to leave the restricted life of Jesus. Help us to live for you. Oh, must we commit this day to your hands. Give us your grace and mercy. We love you. We praise you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Amen.

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4 5. As he came to the town of Samaria. Called psychar near the field that Jacob had given to his son, Joseph. Hallelujah.
