John 3:22

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3:22 after this Jesus and his disciples went into the Judean Countryside and he remained there with them and was baptizing

Jesus and his disciples left, the Metropolis of Jerusalem where the hostility was already beginning to mount. Especially considering his cleansing of the Temple.

There could be no greater honour paid for John the Baptist then for Jesus The savior of mankind, the baptizer in the Holy Spirit to practice the same rite as his forerunner, John the Baptist. Luke 3:1 to 22. We see people came to John the Baptist and heard his preaching and were convicted of their sin and repented, and those who were repented, he baptized them.

Luke 3, 16. We see John The Baptist said, as for me, I baptize you with water but one is coming, who is mightier than I, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Today when a person is born again and his life is changed, we baptize them to show to the world that this person being baptized is a changed person.

He has died to his own life and he is buried in baptism and is risen to a new life. That's what Romans 6:4 says, We were buried, therefore, with him by baptism into death in order that just as Christ was rised from the dead by the glory of the father we too might walk in the newness of life.

Jesus said to his disciples in Matthew 28:19. Go therefore and make disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son and the Holy spirit. Yes, a person who have been born again who have a changed life they need to take baptism.

It is The Obedience to the word of God to go and be baptized. Have you been baptized in water after being born again? It not, this is the day you can decide and commit yourself for the baptism.

Prayer

Let us pray Heavenly Father. I thank you for this day o God.

Thank you for speaking to us about baptism. Lord, it's so clear in the Bible that a person has to believe and get baptized help us to take a dissision to be baptized. If we are not been baptized help us today to take a decision to get baptized I commit this day to your hands in Jesus name.

I pray in Jesus name. Amen. God bless you.
