John 6:10

 Praise the Lord today's verse is from John 6 verse 10 

Jesus said have the people sit down now there was much grass in the place, so the man sat down about 5000 in number. 

The three solution the disciples gave did not solve the problem. They could not feed the hungry people, but Jesus comes with the fourth solution. 
As the first step through the solution, Jesus asked the people to sit down, as the good shepherd, Jesus made the sheep to sit down in green pastures. We read in Psalms 23:1, 2 The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. 
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me besides still waters, according to Mark 6:40, the people were seated in groups of 50 and 100.. This made the crowd easy to count, and food easy to distribute. 
This arrangement prevented confusion, and made things orderly in such a big crowd, if this is very important. There were more than 5,000 men. Besides there were women and children. 
Jesus was in no panic or hurry. He had a large catering job to be fulfilled, but went about his work in an orderly way, making them sit down upon the grass. Imagine the chaos if Jesus had just started distributing without making them sit down. 
That's why in Psalms 23:1 we read, The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. In John 10:14, it says, I am the good shepherd. 
I know my own, and my own knows me. Jesus knows every one of our need. He knows us as a shepherd knows his sheep. 
If God can provide food for so many people. will we not provide for our needs? What is your need today? Let us bring it before our God. 

Prayer


Let us pray. Heavenly Father, I thank you, Lord, that you are our good shepherd. You know our need, you know what we are. 
We commit ourselves once again to your hands, oh Lord. We love you, we praise you. in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen, Amen.

MY TESTIMONY

Maria and I were married on 29th July 1981. In 1982 My colleague in Mico called me for a prayer meeting in which I accepted Jesus as my personal savior this changed my life . I was born again I began to trust God for all things in my life. The first tragedy struck us when Maria was diagnosed with a heart problem in 1986. At that time, Mr. Dorairaj told us to seek God's help and so we went to his house for prayer. When we went for prayer pastor said that God has already healed her as we had come in faith expecting a miracle. We did the Cardiac Catheterization test at Sindi Hospital and she was found to be perfectly fine, God gave her a lease of life. In 1987, Danny was born despite the fact that the doctors had told us there would be complications during childbirth, but by God's grace, Maria had a normal delivery.
