John 4:39

Today's verse is from John 4, 39.  Many Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony. He told me all that I ever did.  The Samaritan woman's testimony was very simple at this testimony had brought many to Christ. She had not been expert in sharing the gospel, or she was not a scholar in the Bible but she just told them. He told me all that I ever did. The blind man also Chapter 9 of John was healed by Jesus just said. One thing I do know I was blind, but now I see.  Your story of how Jesus had transformed your life is one of the most powerful tools you have in sharing your faith. Revelation 12:11 declares they triumphed by the blood of the lamb and the world of their testimony. Sharing your testimony is not about being perfect, but it is about the authenticity. Your testimony doesn't have to be dramatic to be impactful. Perhaps, Jesus brought peace during a difficult season helped you to overcome fear or give you a new sense of purpose. T...

John 4:37,38

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 37, and 38  For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”  One Sows, and another reeps proclaims that God has a special Ministry for each individual, whether it is small or big, However, that Ministry must fit into the plan of God. Paul says in First Corinthians 3, 6, I have planted,  Apollo's watered, but God gave the increase. Here, Paul says Evangelism is a teamwork, so whatever you do for God, it is God who brings it to completion. So never lose heart. Do the work of God speak the word of God. I have sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Jesus is explaining to his disciples, and in that matter, to all of us that whatever is done for the cause of Christ is brought to completion as a result of much labor on the part of many different people, many are unaware of the input of others. A...

John 4:36

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4:36, already.  John 4:36 ESV Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.  Here, Jesus is saying about the rewards we receive for doing God's work. When we bring souls to the kingdom of God, we are truly rewarded. Their God's reward starts immediately. They have the satisfication and the joy of bringing a soul to Jesus. It is also the deep love we have for those people whom we have brought to Christ. When we bring people to Jesus, we not only receive the reward in this world, but also in the world to come. In heaven, we have a great reward, Daniel. 12:3. Those who are wise will shine like brightness of the Heavenly expanse and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. First Peter 5:4 and when the chief Shepherd Jesus appears, you will receive the Crown of Glory that will not fade away. Revelation 22:12 Jesus is saying...

John 4:35

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 35.  Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.   Here, Jesus is comparing the agricultural terms of harvest to the Harvest of souls, that is, people turning to the Lord. In Israel, there was a period of about four months between the end of sowing season and the beginning of the Harvest. Jesus was saying that they need not wait so long. At that time, and in that place, a harvest was there for the reaping he was referring to the readiness of the Samaritans and others to believe in him when they heard the truth. We see in verse 39 many of the Samaritans of that City believed in him because of the word of the woman. In our time too, there is always a harvest ready somewhere always people prepared by God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ. God's servants should seek for them with Zeal and confidence in God. 2000 years from ...

John 4:34

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 34.  Jesus said to them, my food is to do the will of him who sent me and to his work. Even though physical bread definitely is necessary. It is the spiritual need, which really counts. Tragically, this is reversed even in the lives of most Believers. Too much attention is paid on the physical bread and not on the spiritual bread. Are you spending time in the presence of God reading the word of God, which is our spiritual food. Next, we see to do the will of God.  The will of God is the single, most important thing in the world. There is definitely a will for the entirety of the world, and there is a definite will for each individual believer. Nothing happens by chance in the life of a Believer. God has a definite place purpose and position for every single believer. When a Believer as a proper relationship with God you will know God's will, for his life, God will talk to us. God will clearly speak to us His will for our life. Bec...

John 4:33

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 33,  so the disciples said to one another. Has anyone brought him something to eat?  Here, disciples were only thinking in carnal terms, whereas Jesus spoke almost exclusively in spiritual terms. No, no one has brought him any physical food to eat, but the Holy Spirit has brought him a spiritual meal. Are we looking to the Lord to supply our needs or to men? That is why Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord's Prayer. Give us this day, our daily bread. A baby or a infant is dependent on his parents for everything for food, clothing, and shelter. So, are we dependent on God for all our needs? So this petition deals with the needs of our physical frame. Greek word translated as bread not only represents food, but is also symbolic of all our physical needs. To Martin Luther everything necessary for the preservation of life is bread and includes food, healthy body, good weather, house, wife, children, and a good government and peace. Her...

John 4:31,32

Praise the Lord.  Today's verse is from John 4, 31, and 32. Meanwhile, the disciples were urging him saying Rabbi eat. But he said to them, I have food to eat that you do not know about.  When the disciples arrived from the market after buying food, Jesus was finishing his conversation with the Samaritan woman, and she left to go to the town in order to spread the good news. The disciples are parallaxed, at Jesus, dealing with her, but eventually when he seemed to express no appetite for the food which they have brought. They were urging him to eat out of concern for his health. That had come a long way. And they had to go a long way. And they knew that Jesus needed strength for the journey.  When Jesus had fasted for 40 days without food, Satan came to him and said, if you are the Son of God, command that these Stones become bread. Jesus answered and said, it is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but By every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God". Food is...

John 4:30

Today's verse is from John 4, 30.  They went out of the town and were coming to him.  The Samaritans came out of the town to come to Jesus. In John 4, 4, we see that he had to pass through Samaria. And now we know why Jesus has to go through Samaria, the Holy Spirit, knew that they were hungry Hearts in Samaria, who had to come to Christ. Today, also, there are many hungry hearts in the world who need Jesus, but there is no one to tell them about Jesus and to bring them to the gospel. Will you be that person to bring them to Jesus Christ? The Christian Life is based on the twin pillars of Discovery and communication. Discovery of Salvation in Christ Jesus and the communication of the good news of the Gospel. No Discovery is complete until the desire to share it fills our heart, and we cannot communicate Christ to others until we have discovered him for ourselves. We are living in a trouble some days, with great needs worldwide, regardless of the country or place. The nee...

John 4:29

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 4, 29.  Come see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ? The word come is the greatest evidence of all that this woman had received  "Salvation'. When a person receives salvation, they hungrily desire to bring others to Christ. The glory of the Salvation is not obvious unless one has accepted Christ. When this happens and suddenly the glory appears and the first desire is that others should know this as well. Come see a man who told me all that I ever did is once again the epicenter of true Bible Christianity. Christianity is not a philosophy, nor a religion. It is really as stated a man, the man, Jesus Christ. Whether Jesus told her everything or not, we do not know. However, he told her enough that she was thoroughly convinced as to who and what he actually was. This is what makes Christianity so different than the religions of the world. All religions have to do is with the externals only. Here we see an...

John 4:28

Praise The Lord today's verse is from John 4:28.  So, the woman left her  water jar and went away into the town and said to the people come. Here we see the excitement of the woman, Who found Jesus see forgot the purpose she had come there, and she left the  water jar and went away into the town and said to the people come. So she became the first evangelist, the preacher of the Gospel to the Gentile Nations. And so effective was her preaching, We see that it caused a Revival. She had received the Living Water that is salvation. And then she said about this to others. God has created us with a purpose. God purpose for creating us was to share all he had, with us and he is with us. This is the pattern of. Personal evangelism, sharing what we have. God sent Jesus with a mission and with power and authority. He send him to the people not to condemn or to judge, But to set people free. This is the mission Christ has passed on to us. You and I are God's Messengers like this S...

John 4:27

Praise the Lord! Today's verse is from John 4, 27.  Just then, his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, what do you seek, or why are you talking with her?  Here, we see that the disciples came back from the town where they had gone to purchase food. The marveled that he was talking to a woman. The Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans. The rabies did not Converse with a woman in public or instruct them in the law in the public. Actually, this was one of the reasons that the Pharisees and the ruling hierarchy of Israel hated Jesus because he Completely ignored the man-made rules and obeyed the will of the father. Jesus lifted woman to their true position. They Ministered unto him with their substance. The shared his miraculous, healing power, the feeding and  the teaching. They anointed his feet with Ointment. The wept over his Agony when he was going to the Cross. They followed him to the cross. They were at this Sepulc...
