Jesus revealed in the OT
every prophets in the Old Testament spoke of Jesus
Psalms 40:2-10
“In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.”

The Hebrew word ears are opened is  my ears have been Pierced.

We see in the Old Testament On the seventh year a slave was made free but if he decides to serve the master his ears has to be pierced. Jesus was pierced for us on the cross this is the sign that Jesus is there for us to do all things for us.

Study on the Passover
Read it in Leviticus 23 numbers 28,29 deuteronomy 14
The regulations of Passover lamb
- The 10 day of Nisan month the lamb as to be selected
- They have to observe the lamb for four days
-  on the day of Passover at 3pm it is slaughtered.
-  It is slaughtered at the door of the house
-  the blood was applied in the door post
-  they crossed over the blood 🩸 of the lamb indicating that they come into the blood covenant.
-  The lamb is roasted inside the house on a cross shaped rod with the legs extended.
-  The meat should not be left over till the next day.
-  When the Israel was celebrating the feast inside the house the death angel is outside their house and they did not have to worry as the blood of the covenant is on the door post.

The full fillment in the life of Jesus
- On the 10th day of Nissan month Jesus enters Jerusalem
- Four days the leaders questioned Jesus in Jerusalem testing him.
- At 3pm on the Passover Jesus died on the cross.
- His bones was not broken.
- He was pierced.
- They took the body of Jesus from the cross and buried before 6 pm because the next day start according to the Hebrew timings.

Application to our life.
Jesus fulfilled all the requirements of the Passover lamb so that God has paid the full payment of our sins. Today we live in Victory.
The blood of Jesus is applied to the door of our heart. You need not be afraid of the death angel (Corona virus)

When you receive Jesus you are applying the blood on the door of your heart.
