Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. 
Deuteronomy 7:9

The Father’s heart is full of love for each one of us, His children. His love toward us is faithful & is rooted in the covenant sealed in the precious blood of His beloved son, Jesus. This covenant love & faithfulness, he had promised to keep with us, our children & their children and on and on ... for a thousand generations. 

The loving obedience He requires of us, is that we allow Him to embrace us, with His eternal love... His faithful and saving love toward us, demonstrated at the cross - In giving us His beloved son Jesus.

The loving obedience He requires of us - is to embrace Jesus’ perfect sacrifice of love, which finished the work of our Salvation
