“People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.”

Dr Morris Cerello teaching on prayer
True prayer must be from the heart. It is not just the words or phrases a person repeats as a mere routine or formality. It involves coming before God, as our Father, with our hearts—our entire beings—in an attitude of humble submission.
Not only through His words, but also through His example, Jesus taught that we must be willing to forgive and to pray for our enemies.
True prayer is much more than a formal repetition of eloquent words strung together to impress the hearers. It is more than just repeating or quoting prayers from a prayer book.
