John 3:11

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is John 3, 11. Truly truly. I say to you. We speak of what we know. And bear witness of what we have seen. But you do not receive our testimony.

Jesus saying we speak of what we know. That means. There it is, not I but we It speaks of all the apostles and Prophets Ephesians 2 20 says, built on the foundations of Apostles and Prophets

Christ, Jesus himself, being the Cornerstone. Paul here, speaks of the church, been built on the foundations of the Apostles and Prophets in essence  Jesus is speaking of the word of God and is directing Nicodemus to the source instead of the traditions of man. He Is saying in effect we speak what we know.

It is the sure word of the Lord and not the word of man. When someone preached the gospel or the Bible, they are preaching that which is certain We bear witness of what we have seen means that one can actually see the fruits and the benefits of this testimony of the word of God.

We see the Miracles, no religion in the world can compare to this we Know what we speak about and the result can be seen in changed lives and changed situations. But you do not receive our witness as to do with the Jewish senardrin the religious leadership of Israel, they did not receive the word of Jesus, actually, two members of the 70, men, Senardrin did accept Christ Nicodemus and Joseph of armitia. However, it seems that it was only at the crucification. That these two men. Received or accepted Jesus because John 19 chapter 38 and 39 says Joseph of  armitya went and asked permission to bury the body of Jesus and Nicodemus came there bringing a mixture of mirth and aleos about a hundred pound to bury Jesus.

Hallelujah. Today, are we believing the word of God? Or are we building the traditions of our people?

Prayer

Let's look to God, Heavenly Father, I thank you for this time that you have given me to come to your presence. Our Father, we are praying. Oh Lord for your grace O God, to understand the word of God to keep our trust to put our trust in the word of God,

The sure word of God. We commit ourselves into that word in Jesus name, I pray, amen. God bless you.
