John 3:17

Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3:17. And God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

For God did not send his son into the world to condemn, the world means that the object of Christ's Mission was to save the world. The Greek word for condemn is krino and it means to judge. the first coming of Jesus was to save and his second coming will be to judge the world. Jesus did not condemn the world that is the unsaved. But he did condemn and sharply So those who called themselves the people of God, but actually were not I speak of the religious leadership of Israel. As with Nicodemos, there are thousands of people who think that they are saved, but they are not. So while Jesus had strong words of condemnation for the apostate religion, he had nothing but kindness and graciousness for Sinners who were sincere.

He healed every single one who came to him Irrespective of the spiritual condition. He never told anyone who came to him for healing that they were not living right and could not therefore be healed. He forgave their sins and healed them. He healed them and forgave their sins.

'But in order that the world might be saved through him' proclaims to us Jesus Christ, is the only salvation for the world. There is no other He would bring Salvation by taking upon himself, the curse of the law at the calvary's cross. Thereby satisfying the claims of heavenly Justice against man.

During the time of Noah God, destroyed the sinful World by a flood but saved Noah and his family. Today also God is saving his people. Who believe in Jesus from the Eternal judgment, which is to come Hallelujah. Praise the Lord
