Praise the Lord. Today's verse is from John 3 1. Now there was a man of the Pharisees. Named Nicodamus a ruler of the Jews. For the most part, we see that Jesus was surrounded by Ordinary People. But here, we see that he was in contact with an aristocracy of Jerusalem, nicodamas was a wealthy man. We see this when Jesus died Nikodamus brought for his body, a mixture of Mayr and aloes, weighing about a hundred pound, only a wealthy person can do that. Nicodomas was a Pharisee. A Pharisee entered into a Brotherhood Covenant by taking a pledge in front of three Witnesses. That throughout his life, he will be obeying, the word, the law. To the Jews. The law was the most sacred thing in the world. The law was first five books of the Old Testament. The scribes and Pharisees are set out to extract from the great principles of the law.
