 “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.”

The power released through Elijah’s prayer was the result of his relationship with God. He knew God’s power. He knew God had anointed him as His prophet, and he knew God would answer.

When you have developed a strong relationship with God, where you are living in unbroken fellowship and communion with Him, your prayers become mighty through God to the “pulling down of strongholds.”
