Great faith
Jesus commended two people about their faith.
Our faith expression should touch the heart of God. Great faith will bring great conviction. Great conviction will bring      Great confidence
May 8: 5-13
“As Jesus entered the village of Capernaum, a Roman captain came up in a panic and said, “Master, my servant is sick. He can’t walk. He’s in terrible pain.”

“Oh, no,” said the captain. “I don’t want to put you to all that trouble. Just give the order and my servant will be fine. I’m a man who takes orders and gives orders. I tell one soldier, ‘Go,’ and he goes; to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Taken aback, Jesus said, “I’ve yet to come across this kind of simple trust in Israel, the very people who are supposed to know all about God and how he works. This man is the vanguard of many outsiders who will soon be coming from all directions—streaming in from the east, pouring in from the west, sitting down at God’s kingdom banquet alongside Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Then those who grew up ‘in the faith’ but had no faith will find themselves out in the cold, outsiders to grace and wondering what happened.”

Then Jesus turned to the captain and said, “Go. What you believed could happen has happened.” At that moment his servant became well.”

👉Jesus say this is great faith
Jesus did not say I wanted to come to your house to eat then he would have said come but Jesus said I am coming to heal. The centurion you don’t have to come for that for your word will heal my servant.
Listening to the preaching and saying it is good will not change you, you need to spend time and pray that you will put into practice.
When you have to preach don’t eat fast and prepare yourself for the message
Separation and preparation is important in preaching.

👉You don’t come just  to heal to my home
You had just to say a word

Mat 15:22-28.
“From there Jesus took a trip to Tyre and Sidon. They had hardly arrived when a Canaanite woman came down from the hills and pleaded, “Mercy, Master, Son of David! My daughter is cruelly afflicted by an evil spirit.”
Jesus ignored her. The disciples came and complained, “Now she’s bothering us. Would you please take care of her? She’s driving us crazy.” Jesus refused, telling them, “I’ve got my  hands full dealing with the lost sheep of Israel.” Then the woman came back to Jesus, went to her knees, and begged. “Master, help me.” He said, “It’s not right to take bread out of children’s mouths and throw it to dogs.” She was quick: “You’re right, Master, but beggar dogs do get scraps from the master’s table.” Jesus gave in. “Oh, woman, your faith is something else. What you want is what you get!” Right then her daughter became well.”

👉When you go in faith things might not happen immediately but it will surely happen.
First she comes and then she falls at his feet.
👉 My humbleness before god and before people show my maturity in God.
When you are broken in your heart god can use you.
When you have faith you will not be insulted.
Without the presence of god you cannot have faith.

Both the centurion and the women came by faith. One came for his servant one came for her daughter.

👉Sowing and reaping.
Sow worship you will desire to worship more.
Sow reading of bible you receive a desire to read more.
One seed will not give one fruit but multiple fruits

👉Everything you do is a seed you sow plant what you wanted.
When she said  “You’re right, Master, but beggar dogs do get scraps from the master’s table.” She sowed faith and received her miracle.
30 fold 60 fold and 100 fold
Fold means multiplied times over.
Out of 100 seed 25 may fall on the way 25 falls on the rocky place and 25 falls on thorny place but the left 25 gives 100 fold. Even though you loose. This is the time to sow. The end will be far better than the beginning.

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”

We have sowed 628 days of prayer.
“So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”

👉Let us leave just asking for the worldly blessings but ask for spiritual blessings. As you spend time in asking for spiritual blessings. In the time of Elijah there was many prophets but he went after the prophet for the double portion anointing.
